Greetings,
Welcome to the world of quality music. My name is Darshell DuBose and I’m a certified Music Educator in the Northern and Central New Jersey areas. I’ve dedicated myself to providing a well-rounded music education to young people everywhere. In
addition to teaching music for the Juvenile Justice Commission (a state
agency that leads and implements reform for juveniles who have
committed crimes), I own and operate Darshell’s Quality Music and Entertainment, Inc., where music instruction is provided, year-round, in the form of individual music lessons, workshops and presentations.
Because I teach at an institution that incarcerates young people, I witness, first hand, the results of young minds that aren’t challenged to their ability. Studies show that music enhances the development of the brain because it promotes strong cognitive skills, logical thought patterns, discipline and creativity. Because of these studies, it is my business to be an active force in developing young minds for positive growth and change in our communities using the solid music curriculum my company provides (see the Music Curriculum Series page for the Music Curriculum , Piano Instruction Books I and II,Vocal Instruction Book). Once the mind is opened to this endless path of fun-filled learning, skill development and pleasure, the music experience is extraordinary.
